RFID Sensor Kit
Our RFID Sensor Kit provides developers with a plug and play solution for working with the new Melexis® MLX90129 RFID sensor chip. Our plug and play desktop RFID reader allows developers to focus on developing with the chip by saving the effort that would be spent configuring an RFID reader.
The RFID Sensor Kit includes:
- Plug and Play USB 13.56 MHz RFID Reader
- Ready to use sensor demo application
- Custom XML Based Universal API
- Evaluation board including RFID thermometer, light sensor and potentiometer (EVB90129) with additional Melexis® 90129 chips available seperately
The Melexis® 90129 is a 13.56 MHz sensor that uses external resistive sensors to provide a wide range inputs. By default, the chip works as an RFID thermometer, but additional resistive sensors can be connected to measure other physical qualities. The evaluation board included in our demonstration kit works a thermometer, a potentiometer or a light sensor, and can have data logging enabled by adding a battery.
Our custom demonstration software for the Melexis® 90129 provides a visual representation of the readings from the chip, as well as a histogram representation of logged data and input. Our XML based API is fully compatible and has been customized to enable easy integration with the RFID sensors.
